BUFFALO ’66 (with Actor Q&A!)
May 4 @ 8:00 pm
“One of the most stunning [directorial] debuts of all time.” Mike D’Angelo
“Willfully grimy, yet oddly beautiful.” LA Weekly
“Personal and private almost to the point of self-absorption, the film is ultimately saved from neurotic narcissism by the director’s self-deprecating humor and unapologetic honesty about his own dysfunction.” Washington Post
After being released from prison, Billy (Vincent Gallo) is set to visit his parents with his wife, whom he does not actually have. This provokes Billy to act out, as he kidnaps a girl (Christina Ricci) and forces her to act as his wife for the visit.
Dir. Vincent Gallo. 1998. 110 min.
