Sunday, March 18 @ 7:00 pm
“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement, the greatest source of visual beauty, the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.” -David Attenborough
We’re partnering with musical duo Tenth Intervention to bring you the sweeping ocean vistas and extravagant mating calls of Blue Planet: Ocean World with a live score!
The ocean’s influence dominates the world’s weather systems and supports an enormous range of life. This first episode demonstrates the sheer scale, power and complexity of the “Blue Planet”. Featuring sea turtles, humpback whales, and a legendary showdown between an orca pod and a gray whale migrating with her calf.
Tenth Intervention presents contemporary music in New York City. Through collaborations with composers, musicians, visual artists, choreographers, and dancers, they produce programs that expand the reach of music to be diverse, pioneering, and socially conscious.
